Who Am I?

Hi, I'm Sally Dibden, the founder and CEO of The Wellbeing Consultants.  I work as a High Performance Coach, which encompasses Life and Health Coaching, Specialist Holistic Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates.  I am fascinated by the workings of the human body; both physical and mental, with it's enormous potential to heal and grow.

A Bit More About Me

After graduating as a Chartered Physiotherapist in the UK in 1997, my business has evolved alongside my passion in Holistic Health.  I started my career thinking I would primarily be treating the physical side of the body, but it soon became evident that the body was far more complicated.  As patients reveal many things to their physios, I often became involved in their overall wellbeing, offering such skills as counselling and the essentials of nutrition.

My career commenced in the British Health Service (NHS) gaining experience in Neurology, Paediatrics and Orthopaedics, amongst many other areas.  Gradually, I began specialising in the treatment of sports injuries in various clinics and teams.  Further invaluable experience was then gained working in the British Military (RAF), alongside several highly skilled practitioners.  Over this time I completed extensive post-graduate training in a wide range of skills such as Acupuncture, Back Pain Management, Sports Therapy, Energy Therapy and as a Modified Pilates Instructor.  I've been privileged to work in several countries including the UK, Australia and France.  My business is now based on the French / Swiss border near Geneva, although with access to quality systems such as Skype, these days I work with people all over the world.

After becoming a mum over 12 years ago, my interests broadened quickly, dealing with the health challenges of my own children.  It soon became evident that there was a whole wealth of knowledge and help available beyond mainstream medicine.   I embarked on a very steep learning curve about Child Development, Neurological Development, Nutrition, Digestion, Emotional Balance and Food Intolerances.  By this time I had pretty much exhausted myself with a busy work and home life;  in fact, much of what I had learned was now applicable to my own health!  It is often said that everything happens for a reason, but to my surprise it turned out that my crazed quest for answers had helped my whole family and the majority of my patients too.   At that point I decided to train further as an Holistic Lifestyle Coach, initially to feel more informed for my family's wellbeing and finally realising that the ability to put my conventional physio and pilates knowledge with the holistic training was a powerful remedy.

My Mission

To provide quality Health and High Performance Coaching and Specialised Physiotherapy to those desiring to maintain their optimal level of health and wellbeing.  I aim to enable people to perform at their best at work, home and play; released from pain, stress or health problems and engaged in happy, fulfilling lives.  This will always be done, of course, in the strictest confidence.

I am here to support you as much or as little as you need

Just bear in mind...

"If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got"

How Can a Coach Help Me?

A Coach serves to motivate, guide and inspire you to achieve your potential.  At certain times, our lives do not flow as easily as we would like.  This may be due to many reasons such as stress, health difficulties, pain, injuries, lack of energy, clarity or lack of support, to name but a few.  It is my aim to support you in whatever way necessary to get you living a fulfilling and healthy life. Imagine a time when all was well, how energised you felt and how easy life seemed to be.  I aim to help you work towards making this the 'norm'.  Essentially, I help to unblock the blocks, whether they be physical, emotional or nutritional.  There may always be stressful situations to deal with, but you will have the strategies and reserves to cope with these more demanding times.

Do I Need a Coach?

That's for us to discuss.  Once we establish any areas that would benefit from some attention, my role is to provide support and the quality information you need and can trust.  I use a wealth of tools to help get you back on track if you've derailed and enable you to feel totally empowered regarding your wellbeing and life.  You choose the goals.  Do you want to feel fitter? Stronger?  Lose weight?  Get out of physical or emotional pain?  Find your unique purpose in the world?  For you to function at your optimum level of wellbeing and feel happy, you need to really feel great from the inside out.   Having practiced for very many years working alongside numerous other healthcare professionals, I am trained to pick up when something needs further investigation.  At times I may refer to other practitioners for any blocks would benefit from attention from them.  I am experienced in working as a team with your doctor or other health practitioners as required.

I passionately believe that every one of us has a purpose in life.  If you think I may be able to help you connect or rediscover yours, then do get in touch.

I've enjoyed a very varied career, attending to the differing needs of children, busy parents, elite athletes, military professionals and highly stressed business executives to name a few.

Do you have you the energy to do what you really want to?

Do you have you the energy to do what you really want to?

Originally trained as a physiotherapist, I've ALWAYS believed that prevention is better than the cure.  The reality is that people often wait until they are in some kind of pain to take action.  These days I don't.  I'm a self confessed coach junkie now and wouldn't have been without the wonderful health professionals and coaches who've helped me on my way.  It's been an investment in terms of time and money for sure, but the liberation of having a healthy body and mind, living happily and 'on purpose' has been worth every penny for me and my family.  Plus, learning about this stuff happens to be my passion so I just can't help myself!

I'm an outdoors kind of girl so love to pop up the mountains to snowboard, ski and walk in winter and or down to the lake to walk, jog or paddle board in the summer.  Fortunately we live between the two, by Lake Geneva at the foot of the French Alps.

Our world is becoming an increasingly difficult one in which to stay healthy...

Most of us face the many pressures of work, home and family, alongside living in an environment that isn't as 'organic' as we would like.  To top it off,  we have vast and often unhealthy food options at our finger tips; are regularly short of time, yet hope to find it easy to eat and stay well.  It's sometimes an overwhelming challenge to search for quality information amongst the plethora of material out there.  It can then take valuable time to discover if that advice is applicable to YOU and your family and has any professional substance.  I use only the methods and information that hold up to scrutiny and research.

Not sure?

This is exactly why I offer a complimentary 45 minute discovery phonecall or meeting to discuss if I can help you and we are a good fit.  Just contact us and we can set up a time.
